  • Emily Rohwer

    Property Manager

    Emily is a 2005 graduate of Twin Valley South High School and previous lifelong resident of Preble County. After working in the banking industry for several years, Emily joined Home Is The Foundation in 2020 as the Senior Home Repair Program Manager. This position gave her the opportunity to do what she loves: helping people and assisting the seniors in her community to stay safely in their own home. However, when the opportunity opened to learn property management, Emily found another passion in our Affordable Housing Program. She along with her husband, Chris, and two daughters now reside in Darke County.

  • Jennifer Weathington

    Housing Services Manager

    Jennifer began working as the Housing Services Manager for Home Is The Foundation in April 2019. Previously, Jennifer worked as a Behavioral Clinician at Meridian Health Services where her passion for helping others began. Working for Home Is The Foundation provided her with the opportunity to serve those in the community she was raised in. Jenn resides in Preble County with her husband and children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family, boating, attending sporting events, and cheering on the Buckeyes!

  • Aubrey Salyers

    Senior Home Repair Program Manager

    Aubrey joined Home Is The Foundation as the Senior Home Repair Program Manager in January 2023. She is a graduate of Miami University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Fashion Design. Aubrey began her service career in the entertainment industry but most recently spent several years working for the Preble County District Library, where she realized her passion for helping our community. She is proud to work for H.I.T. Foundation, where her personal values align with the organizational mission of safe and affordable housing for all. Aubrey also spends her time crocheting, reading, and traveling with her husband and son.

  • Clayton Genth

    Executive Director

    Prior to becoming the Executive Director in April 2018, Clayton was an active board member and Chairperson of the Homeless Services Committee with Home Is The foundation. Previously Clayton was a senior Program Manager with a nationally recognized homeless services agency in Dayton, Ohio. With over fifteen years in the service industry Clayton uniquely began his professional career serving people experiencing homelessness while serving as a Probation Officer for the Dayton Municipal Court. Clayton is a certified instructor for the American Red Cross and continues to teach and certify Home Is The Foundation staff and colleagues in First Aid, CPR/AED. Clayton proudly completed his Bachelor’s degree in 2003 from Indiana Wesleyan University and most recently earned his Master’s Degree from New England College in March of 2018.

  • Lindsay Watson

    Development Director

    As a Twin Valley South graduate, Lindsay attended Wright State University until achieving a Bachelor of Arts Degree focusing on Public Relations in 2009 while working for on-campus housing for the duration of her time at WSU. Intrigued with student development and a passion for campus life, Lindsay pursued a M.Ed. in College Student Personnel Administration: Higher Education at the University of Southern Mississippi until graduating in late 2010.

    Throughout her time in college, Lindsay was a large part of planning, grant writing, and advertising for many events and functions. In 2014, she and her Mississippi ‘born and raised’ husband moved home to Preble County. Home Is The Foundation welcomed Lindsay in 2019 where she serves as the Development Director – writing and managing grants, marketing, event planning, fostering relationships with the community, and working closely with volunteers

    Scott and Lindsay currently reside in Eaton with their two children. Lindsay enjoys taking pictures, cooking, baking, hosting gatherings, and spending time with family.

  • Travis Jeffries

    Maintenance Lead

    Travis began his career with Home Is The Foundation in November, 2009. He started as a maintenance employee and in 2017 was promoted to Maintenance Supervisor. Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Travis moved to West Alexandria in 1997 where he graduated from Twin Valley South High School. He now lives in Eldorado with his wife Shawna, son Tanner, their German Shepherd, Sasha and dachshund, Stanley. While working for Home Is The Foundation he has taken many classes to assist our residents with their maintenance needs. Travis enjoys music and prefers to listen to country and rock 'n roll.

    Administrative Assistant

    Rachel began working as the Administrative Assistant for Home Is The Foundation in September 2020. Before this, she attended Eaton High School, spent several years working for the Preble County District Library, and graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities. Rachel also spends her time sketching, writing, and reading with her husband Joel.
